Design consulting to unblock the team you already have

Process assessment
Where delivery gets stuck today, backed by evidence, not guesswork.
Critical review of deliverables
Walking through the screens with the team, pointing out risks and alternatives.
Defining rituals
How the team prioritizes, reviews and closes out a deliverable without pulling all-nighters.
Standards and documentation
What needs to be written down so you stop debating the same point.
Leadership support
Direct conversations with whoever leads the team, about the team and careers.
Hands-on training
Sessions built on real work, not generic training.
Working with engineering
Fixing the handoff so the design reaches the product intact.
Growth plan
Priorities and timelines for the team to follow after we leave.
COMPARISON
What changes when an outsider reviews the process with the team
We have consulted for design and motion teams at companies like Tera, São Leopoldo Mandic and Vibra.
WHO IT'S FOR
Wama or one more hire
Not every bottleneck is solved with headcount. Many are solved with decisions.
Wama
Hiring one more person
A stronger current team at the end
One more person in the same broken process
Assessment before any change
Hiring without knowing where things get stuck
Predictable cost and a fixed timeline
Salary, payroll taxes and ramp-up time
An outside view, free of internal politics
Insiders repeat the same habits
A plan that stays after we leave
Knowledge that walks out the door with them
Listening
We talk to the team and to leadership separately. Their reads on the problem are almost always different, and that alone is useful information.
Assessment
We report back what we found, with evidence and ranked by impact, including what is working and should be left alone.
Intervention
We join the routine: deliverable reviews, defining rituals, adjusting the handoff and the hands-on sessions the assessment called for.
Autonomy
We wrap up with a written growth plan and a lighter follow-up period, until the team runs without calling us.

01.
How is consulting billed?
We work on a monthly retainer or an hours package, depending on how much involvement the team needs. The format is set after the assessment, with timeline and scope in writing.
02.
Do you replace my team?
No. If that were the case, we would propose a project, not a consulting engagement. Here the goal is for your in-house team to come out stronger, with its own process and standards.
03.
How long does it last?
Most engagements run three to six months. Less than that isn't enough time to change habits, and longer than that without an exit plan turns into dependence.
04.
Do you get hands-on?
Yes, when it helps unblock things. But the default is to review, guide and design together, so the knowledge stays with the people who will carry on.
05.
My team is small. Is it worth it?
Usually even more so. Small teams suffer more from open decisions, because they have no slack for rework.
06.
Do you only cover design?
Product design and motion are our turf. When the bottleneck is in engineering or product, we say so in the assessment instead of pretending it's a design problem.
07.
How do we measure results?
At the start we define what will be tracked, such as time from design to delivery, amount of rework and cycle predictability. Without that, consulting is just a feeling.
08.
Does it have to be in person?
No. We work remotely with recurring live meetings, and come on-site when a stage calls for it, like a kickoff workshop.
09.
Do you help with hiring for the team?
We help define the profile, design the take-home test and assess candidates. The final decision is always the company's.
10.
What if the assessment shows we don't need consulting?
We'll tell you. Assessments have turned into a recommendation for a one-off project, or for no engagement at all. Charging for something that doesn't solve the problem helps no one.
