AI Websites: 5 Leading Agencies in 2026

AI websites no longer mean only pages generated from a prompt. The term also describes the work of agencies that have put artificial intelligence inside a professional process: in the code, in the visual concept, in SEO. The gap between the two is wide, and the promise of fast delivery only holds when AI speeds up a process that already worked without it. This list was built around that difference.
We picked five agencies and checked, on each one's website, where AI actually comes in. Three of them name the tool and the stage: Wama, the benchmark in Brazil, with Framer Expert Pro status and Claude Code in development; AGR Studio, in Israel, with Claude Code and Codex in the code and published timelines; and BRIX Agency, in the United States, with Codex and Claude Code in engineering. HLabs, in London, uses AI in the creative process, from chatbots to visual concepts. And Studio Maydit represents the other end of the movement: the studio that turns AI-generated prototypes into finished products, without claiming AI in its own process.
For each one, you'll find a photo, what the agency does, where AI comes in, a fact sheet and two projects with links. The order follows the criteria below, applied equally to all of them.
How we evaluated the agencies
Using AI to "generate a website" is easy, and the result tends to be generic. This list looks for something else: agencies that put artificial intelligence inside a professional process, at specific stages, with experienced people deciding what goes in and what stays out. Five criteria, applied equally to all of them:
The same criteria apply beyond this list: see the same yardstick applied to any website vendor.
Where AI really comes in: does the agency say publicly at which stage it uses AI (research, content, design, code, testing, SEO), or is the word just decoration?
Who decides: does AI speed up the work of named people with a portfolio, or does it replace judgment with volume?
Platform and delivery: Framer, Webflow or code, and what the agency delivers with it: CMS, integrations, SEO, performance.
Speed with proof: timelines stated in real case studies, not a promise of a "website in a day."
Verifiable track record: live projects, official recognition (the Framer Experts directory, awards), public pricing when it exists.
The research was done by the Wama blog team, and Wama is also on the list. That's why the criteria come before the names and each fact sheet records what was verified in a public source.

The 5 agencies that use AI to build websites
1. Wama
Wama is the Brazilian studio on this list and the one that documents in the most detail where AI comes into the process. Based in Campinas, it works with Framer as its core platform, holds the Pro Studio badge in the official Experts directory and states it was the first company in South America to reach Framer Expert Pro status, with more than 50 projects published on the platform.
The use of AI is named, not implied: the studio uses Claude Code, Anthropic's coding agent, in the development stage, for code components, CMS integrations, automations, refactoring, testing and documentation. Design still comes from people, and all generated code goes through human review, testing and validation in a real environment before deployment, with the use of AI disclosed to the client as part of the process. In the portfolio, Biz's corporate website and blog are marked as built with AI support, and ManyFeed, the studio's own social proof SaaS, was built with AI.
The format is one person leading the project from the briefing meeting to deployment. With AI taking on the repetitive part of the code, the stated gain is fast delivery in the useful sense of the term: more rounds of revisions within the same budget and less time between the idea and the first clickable version. It's the benchmark in Brazil on this list, and the studio itself adds a caveat: a shorter timeline is welcome, but the value of a corporate website is still built over months.

Notable clients and projects
Biz: corporate website and blog in Framer for a corporate benefits platform, described by the studio as built with AI support; the case study highlights the AI-first chat box that puts the client's product to work above the fold.
Tera: an education platform for AI, product and digital business built in Framer, with more than 1,200 published pages, a catalog of over seventy programs and a structured CMS so the Tera team can publish on its own.
2. AGR Studio
AGR Studio is a senior brand and web studio for B2B companies, founded in 2024 in Ashdod, Israel, by Artyum Grebenyuk, with the Pro Studio badge in the Framer Experts directory and its own website built on the platform. It serves software, fintech, financial services and cybersecurity companies in the United States, Europe and Israel, with a small team and no account managers: the same people who define the scope design, build and stay on after launch. It has a 4.95 rating across 39 client reviews and an Awwwards Honorable Mention in August 2026.
AI comes in at two clearly stated stages. In the code, the studio uses Claude Code and OpenAI Codex as accelerators, with senior review of architecture, performance and security decisions, and it also takes to production apps that clients started on their own in Replit, Lovable or Bolt. In SEO, it treats AI discovery as a standard deliverable: llms.txt files, JSON-LD structured data and pages that ChatGPT, Perplexity and AI Overviews can cite appear in the Cardo Holdings, Kyzenn and Baladi case studies, and on the studio's own website. There's no stated use of AI in research, copy or design.
Timelines are published and short, which is rare in the category: a landing page in Framer in five to seven days, a Framer website in two to four weeks, and most brand and website projects between three and six weeks. The DealDesk case study, a Figma-to-Framer conversion with daily milestones, went live on day 14 as planned, with no fixes after launch.
Fact sheet
Website: agr.studio
Founded: 2024
Location: Ashdod, Israel, serving clients globally
Specialties: B2B brand identity, web design and design systems, web engineering in Framer, migrations and Figma-to-Framer conversion, technical SEO and AI discovery, finishing AI-built apps
Platforms: Framer (main), Webflow, Shopify, Next.js, Astro, Replit, custom code
AI in the process: Claude Code and OpenAI Codex in development, with senior review; llms.txt, JSON-LD and generative engine optimization as a standard SEO deliverable
Price: on request, as a fixed quote per project; the studio says publicly that a five-page website can range from US$ 6,000 to US$ 25,000, depending on what sits behind it
Notable clients and projects
Cardo Holdings: corporate website in Framer for a private markets advisory firm, with 9 pages and 6 CMS collections, delivered with JSON-LD and llms.txt so ChatGPT and Perplexity describe the company correctly; the case study says SEO and AI search readiness were part of the build, not a later fix.
DealDesk: Figma-to-Framer conversion of a multi-page website for a procurement consultancy, with daily milestones from day one to day fourteen; the site went live on day 14, as planned, with no fixes after launch.
3. Studio Maydit
Studio Maydit is a young web and product studio, founded in 2025 by Siddarth Ponangi, based in Hyderabad, India, and working remotely with founders in the United States, the United Kingdom and Europe. Its positioning is specific: design for AI companies that want to look like category leaders, with websites in Framer and Webflow and ongoing product design after launch. Its own website is built in Framer and featured in the platform's official gallery; its Clutch rating is 4.9 across six verified reviews.
It's the odd one out on this list, and that's exactly why it's here. The studio doesn't claim to use AI in its own process: the tools named on its service pages are Figma, Framer and Webflow, and its published method is conventional, with one week of structure and copy, two of design and build, and a few days of review. What it offers is the other end of the same movement, a service called AI MVP Cleanup, which takes AI-generated prototypes and turns them into products users understand and use, with organized files, a design system and handoff. On its blog, it argues that the problem isn't the AI-built website, it's leaving it live after it starts costing you.
It works on a fixed scope of three to four weeks, with half the payment up front and half on delivery, and limits the number of concurrent clients. The Accocorp case study went from zero to a live website in 18 days; Dualite, an AI app-building platform, links the website redesign to more than 100,000 users, a figure stated by the agency.

Location: Hyderabad, India, working remotely with the United States, the United Kingdom and Europe
Specialties: web design and development, product design, design systems, branding, monthly design retainer, finishing AI-generated MVPs, migrations to Webflow and Framer

AI in the process: not stated; the focus is designing for AI companies and finishing AI-generated products
Price: on request; fixed scope of three to four weeks and a monthly retainer you can cancel at any time
Notable clients and projects
Dualite: full redesign in Framer for an AI app builder, with brand direction, website design and development, and an ongoing product design partnership; the agency links the work to more than 100,000 users on the platform.
Mi-VAD: a five-page Webflow website for a medical device company, a coin-sized heart pump, delivered in nine weeks from kickoff to launch.
4. HLabs
HLabs is a London agency specializing in website design, interactive storytelling and no-code technology for publishers and corporate brands, with the Pro Studio badge in the Framer Experts directory and stated partnerships with more than fifteen no-code platforms, including Webflow, Framer, Ceros and Vev. Founded in 2020 by Hannah Springett, it serves Red Bull, The Economist, Wired, Vogue, WWF and Condé Nast with a core team of about twenty people and a bench of freelancers that reaches thirty, across ten countries.
Here AI shows up in the creative process more than in the code. The best-documented example is the agency's first conversational chatbot, built with Voiceflow and Airtable: the prototype with AI-controlled answers was ready in under a week, and the full project, with testing, took between 50 and 60 days. For an 18-meter projection mapping for Convene, produced in three days, the team used Veo, Runway and Midjourney to generate concepts and references before the final execution in After Effects, and describes generative AI as an ideation copilot. There's no public record of AI in copywriting, code generation or testing.
Speed is the house's core proposition. In an interview with the Vev blog, the founder says no-code allows timelines of days, sometimes hours; most projects are delivered in two weeks, and the agency's Framer partner page mentions a full project in five business days. It's the studio on this list for anyone who needs interactive editorial content on a tight deadline.

The Ocean Lovers Guide to Compost (11th Hour Racing): a twenty-page printed guide turned into a one-page website in Framer, with scrollytelling and no-code components; Awwwards Honorable Mention in May 2025.
Plastic Pictures: the launch of the production company's new brand with 3D modeling and AI processes, according to the case study title; the website was built in Webflow.
5. BRIX Agency
BRIX Agency is a web design and development agency for tech companies, registered in the United States and listed in San Francisco in the Webflow directory, where it's a Premium Partner and Enterprise Partner, with a distributed team and its founder, Mauro Sicard, in Mexico City. It claims more than 200 websites built and more than a hundred clients; BRIX Templates, a company in the same group, won Template Designer of the Year at Webflow Conf 2022 and maintains templates and plugins on the official Framer marketplace.
It's one of the few agencies that names its team's AI tools and the stage where they come in. On its technology page, it says it uses OpenAI Codex and Claude Code in development: building, refactoring, debugging and reviewing code, automating repetitive tasks and understanding complex codebases in client projects. It says the team has used AI daily to streamline workflows since 2022 and that it automates non-essential work so people can focus on creative work. Beyond internal use, it sells AI and automation services and a finishing service for projects generated in Lovable, Bolt.new and v0, taking AI-built prototypes to a launch with professional design, SEO and speed.
Its main platform is Webflow; Framer comes second, with its own service page and dozens of websites delivered according to the agency, but no badge in the Experts directory. Stated timelines for Webflow projects run between six and ten weeks.
Fact sheet
Website: brixagency.com
Founded: 2015 (the agency says "since 2015"; the corporate registration cites January 2016)
Location: registered in the United States and listed in San Francisco, with a distributed team
Specialties: web design and development for tech companies, UI/UX, branding, conversion optimization, no-code automation, AI services, programmatic SEO
Platforms: Webflow (Premium and Enterprise Partner), Framer, WordPress, HubSpot
AI in the process: OpenAI Codex and Claude Code in development; AI and automation also sold as a service to clients
Price: on request; the Webflow profile lists projects starting at US$ 10,000, with a typical range of US$ 10,000 to US$ 50,000
Notable clients and projects
Yesware: design, Webflow development and illustration in a partnership of more than a year; the VP of sales and marketing says the visit-to-trial-start conversion rate rose from 2.3% to 5.1%.
GQueues: redesign and Webflow development, with the design files delivered and the project transferred to the client; the founder says new user sign-ups nearly doubled after launch.
What changes when the agency uses AI in the process
The most visible difference is pace. Stages that used to take days, like the first version of a component, a copy variation or a review of a block of code, now take hours. That doesn't shorten the part that matters most, which is deciding what the website needs to say and to whom; it shortens the path between the decision and the clickable version. In practice, the company hiring gets more rounds of revisions within the same budget and less waiting between the idea and the test.
The less visible difference is judgment. AI generates easily, and the market is already full of websites that came out of the same template and look alike. A good agency uses the tool to speed up what it already knew how to do, and keeps a named person reviewing everything that touches data, security or the brand. That's what separates AI as a multiplier of a professional from AI as a replacement for one.
The same judgment applies beyond websites. I show this in an AI-made commercial video, from 3D to upscale, with the full prompts and the cost of each stage.

AI also distributes what it produces: see how Wama automates social posts with Zernio and Claude, with the account's numbers and what stays human.
Frequently asked questions
What is an AI website?
It depends on who's using the term. It can be a website generated by an AI tool from a prompt, which tends to come out generic, or a professional website where the agency used AI at stages of the process: research, content, design, code and testing. This list covers the second case, where AI speeds up the work of experienced people without taking human judgment out of the decision.
Does an agency that uses AI deliver faster?
Generally, yes, in the production stages: first versions of components, copy variations, code review and responsive adjustments. What AI doesn't shorten is defining the strategy, which still depends on conversation and decisions. The real gain shows up as more iteration in the same timeline, not as a website ready in a day.
We measured this in our own process: see how long a professional website really takes and what AI changed, which is less than you'd think.
What is Framer Expert Pro?
Framer Expert Pro is the highest tier of the official Framer Experts program, granted automatically to studios that accumulate a minimum volume of commissions on project transfers to real clients. There's no exam or course: the status is a record of work delivered on the platform.
Who is the benchmark for AI websites in Brazil?
By the criteria of this list, Wama, a studio in Campinas that publicly documents its use of Claude Code in development, holds Framer Expert Pro status and has more than 50 projects published in Framer (the full ranking of the best Framer agencies is in another article). Outside Brazil, AGR Studio, Studio Maydit, HLabs and BRIX Agency serve different client profiles and platforms.
Does AI replace the designer or the developer?
Not at the agencies on this list. The common pattern is the same: AI generates, a person reviews and answers for the result. Where this works, the professional spends less time on repetitive tasks and more time on decisions, and the client still talks to the person who decides, not to a tool operator.
If you want to see how this process works on a real project, with one person leading from the first meeting to deployment and AI speeding up each stage, Wama's projects are at wama.com.br.
